The design is approved and the stickers are printed. Now there is one step left: lorry sticker installation day. Many lorry owners wonder what actually happens that day, how much space they need and what to prepare so the job goes smoothly. This article walks you through it, step by step.
Before installation day

Design and price are already confirmed
Before anything is printed, you will have seen the design on a photo of your own lorry and the price will be confirmed on WhatsApp. The Standard package starts from RM2,200 per lorry for simpler branding, while Size XL starts from RM3,500 per lorry for a larger lorry or fuller body coverage. Date and slot are arranged on WhatsApp
Turnaround is estimated at 3 to 7 working days, depending on size and scope. That is an estimate, not a promise. Once printing is nearly done, the installation date and slot are arranged directly on WhatsApp so it does not clash with your lorry's delivery schedule.
Preparing your lorry
Vinyl sticks best to a clean, dry surface. A little preparation on your side saves a lot of time on the day.
Checklist before we arrive
- Wash the lorry the day before so the body is clear of dust, mud and grease.
- Skip wax or polish on the panels getting stickers, because a slippery layer can weaken adhesion.
- Make sure the lorry is completely dry, including door gaps and panel edges.
- Empty the cargo box if the rear doors need to be opened or closed during the job.
- Remove old stickers, or tell us early if there are still old stickers on the lorry.
Old stickers and body damage
If the lorry body has dents, peeling paint or rust, mention it when you send your photos. Vinyl follows the shape of the surface, so large defects will still show under the sticker. It is better to talk about it early than to be surprised on installation day.
Installation space at your location

What a good space looks like
- Covered or shaded, such as a warehouse, factory porch or under a canopy.
- Clear space around the lorry so the installer can move around and set up a ladder.
- Level ground, away from other vehicles' paths.
- Not too windy or dusty, so dust does not get trapped under the vinyl.
Why avoid rain and harsh sun
Water on the surface stops vinyl from bonding properly. Harsh sun makes the lorry panels too hot and the vinyl harder to control. That is why a covered area is the best choice. If space is tight, describe your site on WhatsApp and we will work something out together.
Installation steps on the day
On installation day the work usually follows the same order, although the actual time depends on the lorry size and how much sticker is going on.
Check and clean the surface
The installer checks the lorry panels and wipes the surface again to remove any leftover grease or fine dust. It is a small step, but it helps the sticker lie flat.
Position and apply
Each section of the sticker is first placed according to the design you approved, lined up so it sits straight, then applied bit by bit with a squeegee to push out the air.
Areas that need extra care
Door handles, rivets, panel joints and cargo box corners take longer. The vinyl has to be cut and folded neatly here so the edges do not lift.
Edge finishing and final check
Once every section is on, the sticker edges are trimmed and the whole lorry is checked once more. You can look over the result with the installer before the lorry heads out.
After installation
