Water-resistant, anti-UV vinyl comes with every package. Get to know UV laminate, reflective sticker, die-cut letters and one-way vision film.

Lorry Sticker Materials: Vinyl, UV Laminate, Reflective and More

Your lorry bakes in the sun, gets soaked in the rain and is washed again and again. That is why the sticker material matters as much as the design. This article explains the lorry sticker materials StickerGo uses: the weatherproof vinyl included in every package, plus optional materials such as UV laminate, reflective sticker, die-cut letters and one-way vision film.

The base: weatherproof vinyl in every package

Every StickerGo package, whether Standard (from RM2,200 per lorry) or Size XL (from RM3,500 per lorry), uses durable vinyl that is water-resistant and anti-UV. This is the base material printed with your design and applied directly to the lorry body.

Why vinyl suits lorries

Vinyl is flexible and thin, so it follows the surface of a lorry panel, including small dips and corners. It can be printed in full colour, from a simple logo to graphics across the whole cargo box. For business vehicles that are always on the road, this mix of colour printing and neat installation is what turns a lorry into a moving billboard.

Malaysian weather

Harsh sun and heavy rain are daily routine for lorries in Malaysia. The water-resistant, anti-UV vinyl in our packages is chosen for these conditions. Proper care also helps stickers stay neat; read how to care for lorry stickers for washing tips.

Four optional materials and what they do

Beyond the base vinyl, there are four optional materials. Each solves a different problem. Prices for optional materials are confirmed on WhatsApp, as they depend on the area and size you want.

UV laminate

Laminate is a clear layer applied on top of the printed sticker. It adds an extra layer over the print, useful for lorries that are often parked in the open or washed frequently. Laminate can also give the sticker surface a smoother finish.

Reflective sticker

Reflective sticker bounces back light from other vehicles' headlights. At night, your company name, logo or stripes light up and are easy to spot. It suits lorries that often run early morning or late at night, such as market deliveries or reefer trucks on night schedules.

Die-cut letters and logos

Die-cut means letters or logos are cut to their own shape, with no rectangular background. The result looks as if it were painted on the lorry: neat, sharp and professional. It is a popular choice for cab doors and for company names on solid-coloured lorries.

One-way vision film

One-way vision film goes on windows. From outside, people see your graphic; from inside, the driver can still see out. It suits the rear windows of vans or pickups when you want the design to run continuously with no blank glass area.

How to choose the right material

Not every lorry needs every material. Choose based on how your lorry is used.

  • Lorry often on the road at night — consider reflective sticker.
  • Want a clean look with no background — die-cut letters and logos.
  • Van or pickup with rear windows — one-way vision film.
  • Lorry always parked in the open — ask about UV laminate.

Combine as needed

Materials can be combined on one lorry. For example, full-print vinyl on the cargo box, die-cut letters on the cab door and reflective stripes on the rear. Tell us how your lorry is used every day and we will suggest a combination that makes sense for your budget.

When optional materials aren't needed

If your lorry runs by day around town and your design is simple, the weatherproof vinyl in the package may already be enough. We will tell you honestly when an extra material doesn't add much value.

Common questions about materials

Can I add optional materials after the sticker is installed?

It is best to decide while the design is being made, because options like die-cut letters or reflective stripes need to be planned with the layout. If you already have stickers and want to add something, send a current photo of your lorry and we will check what can be done.

Can I bring my own design?

Yes. Send your design file on WhatsApp and we will check whether its size and resolution suit printing on your lorry. If it needs adjusting for a particular panel, we will let you know before printing.

Which material suits a reefer truck?

Reefer trucks usually have a large, flat cargo box, so full-print vinyl suits them well. If the truck often runs at night, reflective stripes or text on the rear are worth considering. See also Standard or Size XL to choose a package.

Installation decides the final result

Good material must be applied properly. The lorry surface is cleaned first, then the vinyl is smoothed with a squeegee so there are no air bubbles or wrinkles, and the edges are finished neatly around doors and corners.

At your location, in every state

Installation at your location is available in every state, whether in Port Klang, Kota Kinabalu or Ipoh. The date is arranged on WhatsApp, and the estimated completion time is 3 to 7 working days depending on size and scope.

In short, water-resistant, anti-UV vinyl is included in every package. UV laminate, reflective sticker, die-cut letters and one-way vision film can be added as needed, with prices confirmed on WhatsApp. See the packages section, then send us your lorry photo for a material recommendation.
